Strategic Planning & Team Resilience

Context
Since 2017, Colab has partnered with the Ecology Action Centre’s Marine Conservation Team to strengthen strategic planning, collaboration, and team alignment. The team spans multiple provinces and often works remotely, creating unique challenges for coordination and clarity.

Our Role
Colab provides ongoing support to the team through facilitation, coaching, and strategic guidance. This includes fostering collaboration, clarifying roles and responsibilities, supporting planning processes, and helping the team adapt to evolving priorities and opportunities.

Outcome
Through this sustained partnership, the Marine Conservation Team has strengthened communication, enhanced cohesion across dispersed locations, and developed clearer strategic focus. Colab’s support has helped the team work more effectively toward advancing marine conservation across Canada.
